What makes Pride of our Footscray (POOFS) special
POOFS is a bar, stage and meeting place in one: the bar is run and financed by the community, and members get discounts. During the week there are quizzes, bingo and film nights; at weekends DJs and drag. The crowd is relaxed and mixed, and event prices are low.
Programme
October and November 2026 events include Holly’s Pop Quiz Drag Trivia, Pride Drag Bingo, the Pride Film Club and ‘Sketchy Behaviour with Roxy Rawhide’. Tickets usually cost between 5 and 20 AUD (approx. €3–12).
