What makes Canvas special
Canvas sees itself as a neighbourhood bar, not a club: there are no TVs, but a covered terrace, a full bar and a kitchen (Moon Room, Thu–Sun from 9 pm). Stained-glass pieces were brought over from the original location. The programme alternates between karaoke, line dancing, drag and DJ nights. New parties are announced first on Instagram.
Programme
On Thursdays and Sundays there’s karaoke and line dancing with no cover. Plus fixed monthly dates such as Bluegrass Pride on the first Sunday, Latin Night on the third Wednesday and Eagle Night on the last Saturday.
A good fit if you …
- are looking for a relaxed bar with a terrace
- like karaoke or line dancing
Not ideal if you …
- expect a big club with a dance floor
