What makes Adam’s Apple stand out

The club is in the Santitham district north of the old town, a little away from the tourist area. Around 10 pm the show begins with cabaret, drag lip-sync, solo numbers and go-go dancers, and the programme also includes strip numbers. It runs until shortly before midnight, with a short break at 11 pm. You sit on upholstered seats right in front of the stage.

There’s no entry fee, but drinks are more expensive than in normal bars. Regular theme nights are Request Night on Wednesday and Couples’ Night on Thursday.

Atmosphere and crowd

The crowd is mixed: gay men, couples and also straight guests who want to experience a Thai show bar once. The warm mama-san, the friendly staff and the well-kept rooms get praise. The show has the most energy on busy weekend nights.
