What makes Good Omens stand out
Good Omens opened in February 2026, run by the people behind Bad Manors in Newtown. Outside there’s a street-facing terrace, plus a courtyard and a hidden beer garden. Inside you’ll find a chequerboard floor, burgundy walls, bookshelves and a dance floor. Behind one of the shelves is a secret room.
Food includes burgers and boerewors rolls, plus a small wine list and cocktails with monthly changing specials.
Atmosphere and crowd
The mood is relaxed, and it’s busy at weekends. The crowd is mixed, and LGBTQIA+ events take place regularly. Since Babylon closed in March 2026, Good Omens is often recommended as a queer-friendly address in Melville.
