Casa, formerly known as G-Mixi, is in Lane 10 of Chengdu Road, a few doors from Café Dalida on the square behind the Red House. It’s a café and bar in one, with outdoor seating and an industrial-style interior. The name says it all: casa means home.
The bar is run by a group of friends who stand behind the counter themselves. Guests praise the warm service and low prices.
Atmosphere and crowd
The mood is relaxed and the music not too loud, so it’s good for longer conversations. Regulars from the neighbourhood mix with travellers doing the rounds of the square. At weekends it’s busy here too until 2 am.
