What makes Club Asylum stand out
Asylum is one of the fixtures of Sofia’s still small queer nightlife and is run by LGBTQ people. Across around 420 square metres there’s a main dance floor, lounge areas and a separate darkroom and playroom area.
On Thursdays there’s a relaxed Bar Night; on Fridays and Saturdays gay, LesBi and theme parties alternate with drag, fetish and underwear nights. The music ranges from pop to techno.
Atmosphere and crowd
The crowd is a friendly mix of locals and travellers. Guests praise the crew, the atmosphere and fair prices for entry and drinks.
