17th Street High Heel Race 2026
27. October um 18:00 - 22:00
A cult classic since 1986: on the Tuesday before Halloween, drag queens sprint down 17th Street in Dupont Circle in high heels. Beforehand there’s a costume catwalk and shows, with thousands of spectators cheering them on. Quirky, fast and typically D.C.
Dates according to the organiser (as of October 2026) – please check with the organiser before travelling.
