What makes Mattie’s WeHo special
Owner Matt Ross, at home in West Hollywood for almost 30 years, wants Mattie’s to reconnect with the old WeHo and bring back the core gay community. By day it’s a restaurant with a patio, and in the evening people dance to DJs across some 465 square metres. On Fridays and Saturdays it goes until 4 am. At the weekend there’s drag brunch.
A good fit if you …
- want food and dancing in one place
- are planning long nights at the weekend
- like drag brunch
Not ideal if you …
- are looking for a small, quiet bar
