What makes Bar Chiquita stand out

Bar Chiquita opened in 2016 as a small drag cocktail bar about a block from its current location and, according to so.gay, revived drag in Medellín. Today it’s right in the middle of Provenza, El Poblado’s nightlife district.

The decor is all about kitsch, with pink flamingos, neon lights and psychedelic toilets. Cocktails are served on the large terrace until late, and inside there are drag performances and karaoke every night. Caipiroska and michelada are popular.

The crowd is mixed, playful and outgoing. Guests praise the decor, music, clean toilets and good mood. People dance until the early hours.
