What makes Admiral Duncan special
The Admiral Duncan is one of London’s most historic gay pubs. Three people died and 79 were injured in the 1999 attack; the pub reopened after a few weeks. Today there are drag shows and karaoke in a classic pub atmosphere. Guests praise the staff and fair prices; it gets crowded during shows.
A good fit if you …
- want to experience the history of the scene
- like drag in a pub setting
Not ideal if you …
- need lots of space
