What makes AiiRO Café stand out

AiiRO Café is on Naka-dōri, the main street of Ni-chōme, Tokyo’s densest gay district with hundreds of small bars. You’ll recognise it by the rainbow torii outside. It’s the sister bar of AiSOTOPE LOUNGE, one of the largest gay clubs in the district, and explicitly welcomes all identities.

The bar itself is little more than a counter; the real action happens on the pavement at standing tables, where you meet people drink in hand. The menu features house cocktails with names like “Nichome” or “Adios Motherf*cker”. You can also pay by card or IC card.

Atmosphere and crowd

The staff speak English, and the crowd is mostly gay but mixed and very international. Guests praise how quickly you make connections here. At weekends, from around 10 pm, the street corner is so packed you can hardly get through.
