Besenkammer is a simple drinking den with no dance floor or darkroom: you stand or sit close together, drink cheaply, chat and watch people. Pop oldies and Schlager come from the speakers, and smoking is allowed. Outside there are a few seats that are popular on summer evenings.A good fit if you …want to experience a piece of East Berlin scene historywant one more beer at any hourlike down-to-earth pubsNot ideal if you …expect space, smoke-free air or fancy drinksOur tip: Ideal for a nightcap after partying in Mitte or Friedrichshain when everything else is closed; bring cash.ContactPhone030 2424083Editorially researched, as of October 2026.
