What makes BirdCage stand out

BirdCage is a semi-open club in Tây Hồ near the Red River, decorated with vintage materials and lots of birdcages. Besides the main room there’s a smaller room for live acts and experimental sets, and in total up to 600 people fit inside.

The sound is considered one of the best in the city, as it has one of the few Funktion-One systems in Vietnam. The programme is put together by local collectives and promoters, so you won’t find mainstream pop here.

Atmosphere and crowd

The party starts late and runs until sunrise. Locals, expats and travellers party together, and the mood is relaxed and open. The sound and the music get particular praise.
