What makes Club Sauna Expert stand out

The sauna is in the old town and is the go-to address for gay men in Bratislava. It’s equipped with a Finnish sauna, dry sauna, ice shower and relaxation areas, and the bar serves beer, wine, soft drinks and coffee. Towel and locker key are included in the entry price, and flip-flops are available for a deposit. Classic massages cost €25 for 20 minutes and €40 for 50 minutes.

Entry is paid on arrival and drinks on leaving. Photography is prohibited. There’s a transferable six-visit card for €100, or €80 for under 26s. Occasional naked parties are announced on the website.

Atmosphere and crowd

According to Bratislava’s tourism portal, the sauna is aimed mainly at gay guests, with a family-like atmosphere and lots of regulars. Cleanliness and peace and quiet are praised. If you’re looking for a relaxed sauna evening among men, this is the place.
