What makes diversity Bar special

Behind diversity Bar is diversity München e.V., the city’s queer youth organisation with a youth centre and youth café. Every Wednesday from 7 pm until around midnight, the diversity Café on Blumenstraße turns into a bar. Everyone under 27 is welcome, whatever their gender identity or sexual orientation, and of course friends of that age too.

The mood is relaxed and sociable, and many come alone and quickly meet others. Lesbian, gay, bi, trans*, inter*, non-binary and aro/ace guests are just as at home here as their straight friends. Drinks are at youth prices, and the rule is: welcome with no obligation to buy.

During the week diversity also offers the open diversity Café and numerous youth groups. The bar is a good first step into the Munich scene, especially if you’re new to the city or have only just come out.
