What makes Gaywerk special

Gaywerk takes place at MS Connexion Complex in the industrial area of Mannheim-Neckarau. Depending on the edition there are four to five dance floors with international and regional DJs. On the main floor on the ground floor dancers and drag queens perform, and on the first floor loud, bass-heavy techno plays.

In the basement there’s a large darkroom where it’s men only. In front of the club there’s a spacious outdoor area with a bar, seating and a food stand. The organiser is queerdelta, which also runs the Ponyclub party at Disco Zwei.

Atmosphere and crowd

Up to 3,000 guests come from all over the region, and the crowd is open, mixed and parties exuberantly until the early hours. Especially in summer the outdoor area is a welcome way to cool down.
