What makes Klub 21 stand out
Klub 21 is in the basement of a building on Římská, easy to miss from the street. Downstairs you’ll find brick walls, art by local artists and a small bar with cocktails and cheap beer. Expats.cz describes the place as a mix of gallery and bar.
Klub 21 is considered one of the places where Prague’s lesbian scene also meets. At weekends it gets busier and goes on later; during the week it’s more of a quiet bar for conversation.
Atmosphere and crowd
In the Google reviews it stands out how warmly tourists are received here, even without any Czech. Most guests are locals, and the crowd is mixed and easygoing.
A good fit if you …
- are looking for a cosy basement bar with locals
- want a mixed bar for women and men
- want to stay until 3 am at the weekend
Not ideal if you …
- are out on a Sunday or Monday
- are looking for a club with a big dance floor
