What makes La Mutinerie stand out
La Mutinerie is both a political meeting place and a bar, with low prices and a black-and-red façade. Guests praise the atmosphere, the bar team and its role for the lesbian community. In recent years the bar has asked its community for financial support. Some recent reviews criticise the door policy and how guests are treated.
Programme
Besides DJ nights there are drag king shows, film nights and discussions. For Halloween 2026, the party ‘Sashalloween’ has been announced for 31 October.
A good fit if you …
- are looking for queer feminist spaces
- like cheap drinks and a community programme
Not ideal if you …
- are a cis man mainly looking for a gay bar
