What makes Michelangelo stand out
Since 2016 Michelangelo has been the only address of its kind on Malta: a gay club in the middle of Paceville, the nightlife district of St. Julian’s. Across two floors there’s a bar, dance floor, VIP area and lounge.
At weekends resident and guest DJs play, plus drag performances and themed circuit nights. It’s busiest during Malta Pride in September and at special events.
Atmosphere and crowd
The crowd mixes locals and international guests, mostly men. Guests praise the friendly staff, good DJs and the open, warm LGBTQ+ atmosphere. Drink prices are described as fair.
