What makes New Circle Club stand out
Under its old name Circle Pub, this bar has been a fixture in Chang Phueak, near the Santitham area, for many years. It’s a classic host bar of the kind known from Thailand: guests are served and entertained by young men, and there are two shows every night.
Many venues in the area have closed or reopened over the years, but the Circle has held on. It’s busiest at show times in the later evening.
Atmosphere and crowd
The crowd is mainly travellers and expats, and according to reviews many women now come too. As is usual in host bars, drinks are more expensive than in normal bars.
