Nu Towne Saloon has been open since 1971 and is considered the oldest gay bar in Phoenix. The dive bar near Papago Park is known for cheap beer, pool and the Sunday Beer Bust.

What makes Nu Towne Saloon special
Nu Towne has pool tables, a jukebox and cheap drinks; after a fire in 2010 the bar was rebuilt. The crowd is mostly regulars. On Sundays the Beer Bust brings cheap beer and barbecue, and on Fridays the bear and leather scene meets.
