What makes Playa Chihuahua special
People have been bathing naked at Chihuahua beach since the 1960s, and in 2012 the Department of Maldonado officially permitted nudism here. Nudity is only allowed on the designated section. The gay corner is traditionally by the dunes at one end of the beach. There are hardly any facilities, and you get there by car or taxi.
