What makes Rain on 4th special

Rain opened on 4th Street in 2004 and has been majority queer-owned since 2015. The bar has three areas: a cocktail lounge, a dance floor under high warehouse ceilings and a patio with its own bar.

There is something on seven nights a week, from drag shows at weekends to drag karaoke, theme nights and guest DJs. On Sundays people party at Sunday Funday.

Atmosphere and crowd

A little more upscale than its neighbours, but easy-going: mostly men, plus many friends from across the 4th Street scene, mostly between their mid-20s and mid-40s.
