What makes Station 4 special

Station 4, S4 for short, is run by Caven Enterprises and, with around 2,300 square metres, several bars and an elaborately equipped dance floor, is the city’s biggest gay club. There are also areas like the Granite Bar and the Horror Bar.

On the first floor is the Rose Room, open since 1986 and one of the country’s most storied drag stages. Winners from Miss Gay America to Miss Continental have performed here, and Dallas legend Cassie Nova calls it home.

Atmosphere and crowd

A young, mixed crowd that comes to dance, many between 18 and 30. At the weekend the mood builds late, when the shows run upstairs in the Rose Room and the Main Floor below is packed.
