What makes The Pinhook special
Kym Register has run the club alone since 2016 and describes it as a queer, somewhat punky place. It books independent and touring bands, plus DJ nights and parties. Many of the staff are queer. Drinks are cheap, and concerts often have a cover.
A good fit if you …
- are looking for live music in a queer setting
- like indie and dance parties
Not ideal if you …
- expect a classic gay bar with drag every night
