What makes Townhouse Cocktail Lounge special
The bar used to be a hangout for military personnel and workers; Jeff Linn and Andrew Pembroke took it over in 2020 and gave it a clear queer focus. There’s pool, a jukebox and karaoke, and the menu features lots of local beers. In June 2026 the windows were deliberately smashed; the operators repaired them and carried on. Programme times may have changed since the 2023 report.
