What makes Tremont Lounge special

The building was a steakhouse in the 1940s and has been a gay bar since 1987. A 2004 renovation added wooden floors and large folding windows onto the street, while the old bar with black-and-white tiles stayed. Staff and regulars know each other, and newcomers are quickly welcomed. The heated terrace at the back can be used in winter too.
