What makes LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert special

The Center is above all a resource for people who live here: therapy, food aid, computer access and groups are the focus. According to Out x Out the centre records more than 85,000 contacts a year. For visitors, the benefit events such as the Center Stage gala are more interesting. The food bank is at a separate address (2901 E Alejo Rd).

Programme

Besides the counselling clinic there’s a food bank with distribution on Thursdays, a CyberCenter with free computers and services for young people, families and gender-expansive people. The branch in Coachella offers support in English and Spanish.
