What makes The Divine special
The Divine continues The Glory’s tradition of alternative drag. At street level there is a bar, free entry during the week; in the basement a stage with dance floor for shows and parties. Guests praise the inclusive vibe and the staff. There is criticism of the heat on the dance floor and of security.
Shows
There are ticketed shows downstairs almost every night, plus series such as Man Up XL, Werk in Progress for new acts and the quiz The Weakest Twink. Every year the lip-sync competition LIPSYNC1000 and the drag king competition MAN UP take place.
A good fit if you …
- like alternative drag and cabaret
- want to discover new acts
Not ideal if you …
- need step-free access to the stage
