What makes Sudhaus special

A cultural centre with a bar, stage and dance floor has moved into the old brewhouse of the Warteck brewery in Kleinbasel. Guests praise the lovingly designed interior, the good sound and the friendly team. Alongside concerts and parties, there are regular nights aimed at the queer community, both under the name Queerhaus Bar and as drag shows.

Several drag nights are on the programme in autumn 2026: OHG! It’s Drag on Friday, 23 October (Hell House) and on Friday, 18 December (Grand Xmas), plus Drag Roy-LÄLLE-ty All Stars on Saturday, 7 November, each from 7 to 11 pm. The crowd is queer and mixed, men and women of all ages.
