Achilleus Men’s Spa & Sauna is in the middle of Nuremberg’s old town, a few minutes from the main station: around 1,000 square metres on three floors with sauna, large steam room, whirlpool, bar-bistro and roof terrace. Since 2015 it has been the city’s gay sauna.

What makes Achilleus special
Spread over three floors are a Finnish sauna, an XXL steam room, a large whirlpool and a rain shower, plus rest areas, a video room, free and rentable cabins and a cruising area. The bar-bistro serves drinks and small dishes, and on the roof terrace people smoke and sunbathe. Locker and towel are included in the entry fee.
Programme
There are regular theme days and parties, such as foam parties for young guests or days for bears and otters. On some days the sauna opens as a unisex sauna, with separate prices. In reviews guests especially praise the cleanliness and facilities.
