What makes Atemlos stand out

Atemlos opened on 31 January 2026 and, after years without a dedicated scene venue, is once again a permanent gay bar for Malmö. The concept is simple: hits everyone knows, dimmed lights and lots of energy. The bar is on Bergsgatan between Triangeln and Möllevången, the lively nightlife district around Möllevångstorget.

Safety, respect and community come first. There’s zero tolerance for discrimination and harassment, and anyone who feels uncomfortable can discreetly let the bar team know with a code word.

Atmosphere and crowd

The crowd is queer and mixed. Reviews especially praise the team, and some guests even mention the bartenders by name. One guest writes that Atemlos is exactly what Malmö needs. The karaoke nights are particularly popular.
