What makes Page 28 stand out
Page 28 is run by a volunteer-led cultural association for LGBTQ people. The shop stocks queer literature in Swedish and English, from novels and non-fiction to poetry, zines and comics. The association also organises readings, author talks, art exhibitions, film screenings and community evenings. If you can’t make it in person, you can order through the webshop.
The shop has moved to Claesgatan 8 in the MittMöllan market hall complex; older listings still give Karlskronaplan 11. Access is wheelchair-friendly, and there’s an accessible toilet in the MittMöllan food court.
Atmosphere and crowd
The Google reviews are consistently very positive, praising the welcoming atmosphere, the selection in Swedish and English and the friendly team. It’s more a place to browse and feel at home than a night-out destination.
A good fit if you …

- want to connect with the local community during the day
