What makes Bar 49 special

Bar 49 calls itself a gay bar for the neighbourhood. Music videos and sports play on big screens, and World Cup games were shown here in 2026. The kitchen serves Irish classics, and there is brunch at weekends. The bar is quieter than the dance bars on 18th Street.
