What makes Bar 54 stand out
The bar is in an arcade on Terazije, near Čumićevo sokače, a few steps from Knez Mihailova and Trg Republike. Under the name Smiley or Osmeh it was long a fixture of Belgrade’s small scene; it now trades as Bar 54.
The concept is simple: coffee during the day, cocktails and music in the evening, and it’s busy on many nights. We couldn’t reliably verify current opening hours.
Atmosphere and crowd
Guests describe the bar as friendly and relaxed; if you’re travelling alone, it’s easy to get chatting here.
A good fit if you …
- want an easy-going drink in the centre
- are travelling alone and want to meet people
- prefer small bars to big clubs
Not ideal if you …
- want to dance until the morning
- are looking for a bar with a regular show programme
