What makes Bar Romantis special

As soon as you come in you notice the bubbling of the aquariums. Bar Romantis is lovingly and richly decorated, with angel figures, gold-framed photos and kitschy wall decorations. It is on the edge of the city centre, around ten minutes’ walk from the main station.

Fridays and Saturdays are karaoke night, when the bar is at its fullest and the mood at its most exuberant. During the week it’s regular bar service, with occasional quiz nights. Google reviews especially praise the warm owners, the good cocktails, the fair prices and the atmosphere.

The crowd is mixed: around 70 percent men and 30 percent women, and hen parties often celebrate here too. If you’re looking for a men-only bar, Burgklause is a better fit.
