What makes Café Silber special
Café Silber has existed since 2011. At the beginning of August 2018 it moved to Klosterwiesgasse in the Jakomini district, a few minutes’ walk south of Jakominiplatz and not far from Café-Bar STARS on Schönaugasse. Graz Tourismus includes Silber in its list of the city’s gay-friendly bars and cafés.
The venue is a café and bar in one: in the evening there’s coffee, beer, wine and drinks, plus a cosy beer garden that invites you to linger in summer. The atmosphere is familiar, many guests have been coming for years and know each other. Newcomers quickly get talking at the bar.
After a break, Silber reopened on 14 August 2026, and the host is now Vasilis. The team posts current information on opening hours and events on the café’s Facebook page.
