What makes STARS special
STARS is on Schönaugasse in the Jakomini district, just a few steps from Café Silber. Since 2014 the café bar has been one of the few fixed addresses of the Graz scene and describes itself as LGBTQIA+-friendly. Graz Tourismus names STARS in its list of gay-friendly bars and cafés.
Inside, warm lighting and comfortable seating create a cosy living-room atmosphere where you can happily stay a while. From May into autumn there’s also a beer garden, served until 10 pm. The crowd is mixed, many guests come regularly, and it’s easy to get talking at the bar.
During the week STARS opens as early as 4 pm, making it suitable for an after-work drink too. Wednesday is closing day. The bar posts current information and special openings on Instagram.
