What makes Centre Stage stand out

Centre Stage is on Studiestræde in the Latin Quarter, a few steps from City Hall Square. In 2024 the bar took over the address of the legendary Cosy Bar and turned it into a show stage: people sing, quiz and party along here. In August 2026 it celebrated its second birthday.

The programme changes: karaoke, musicals, quizzes, drag shows and parties alternate, so it’s best to check Instagram before you go. At weekends there are late drag shows and club nights that go on until 5 am.

Atmosphere and crowd

The crowd is queer and mostly male, typically between 25 and 55, and many come with friends. Entry is 21+. The mood is exuberant and more about singing along than quiet flirting. Google reviews especially praise the staff, the shows and the cocktails.
