What makes Club 69 stand out
Club 69 is an institution in Buenos Aires nightlife. The party takes place at Niceto Club, otherwise known mainly for concerts and regarded as a venue with good acoustics and lighting. DJs play house, nu-disco and tech house, and in between the resident troupe La Compañía Inestable performs theatrical drag, cabaret and acrobatic numbers.
According to Time Out, tickets often sell out quickly, so it’s better to buy in advance. As always in Buenos Aires, the night starts late, and the shows usually run after 2 am.
Atmosphere and crowd
The crowd is young, colourfully mixed, creative and fashion-conscious, and the scene parties here together with all kinds of friendship groups. Guests praise the shows, the sound and the exuberant atmosphere.
A good fit if you …
- like a party with a show and artistic ambition
- listen to house and nu-disco
- are looking for a mixed, creative crowd
Not ideal if you …
- are looking for an exclusively gay bar
- want to party before midnight
