What makes Club Unity special
Club Unity has been around since 2002 and is one of Montréal’s oldest and largest queer clubs. Spread over three floors are two dance floors with house and pop remixes, a VIP area and the roof terrace, which is especially sought after in summer for its view over the city. Local and international DJs take turns, and at the big weekend parties drag sets and go-go dancers get the crowd going.
Tickets can be bought online in advance. According to Google, the club describes itself as women-led.
Atmosphere and crowd
The crowd is mostly male and young, plus groups of friends and allies, locals as well as visitors. It only fills up after midnight. The size, the roof terrace and the party atmosphere get praise.
A good fit if you …
- want to dance until 3 am
- like big clubs with several floors
- want to party under the open sky in summer
Not ideal if you …
- are looking for a quiet bar to talk
- want to go out Sunday to Wednesday
