What makes COX stand out
COX sits at the junction of Rue des Archives and Rue Sainte-Croix-de-la-Bretonnerie, in the heart of the gay Marais. The bar has been a fixture of the district since the 90s and is known above all for one thing: on warm evenings the crowd stands on the pavement, glass in hand.
Inside it is cramped, with DJ music between house and pop, and the decor changes every month. Happy hour runs daily until 10 pm, after which the bar becomes a meeting point before moving on to the clubs.
