What makes Dani’s special

Dani’s opened in September 2024 in the former Pour House premises on Boylston Street. It is the first venue of Thais Rocha, co-founder of the Sapphic Nights party series. With it, Boston once again has a bar explicitly aimed at lesbian and queer women after years without one, trans-inclusive and open to all.

There are bar and table seats, a lounge at the back and, in the basement, a second bar with a small dance floor. The menu features cocktails, nine draught beers, eleven canned beers and pub food until 11:30 pm, plus brunch at weekends. There are regular dance nights, mixers, karaoke and drag.

Atmosphere and crowd

In the afternoon Dani’s feels like a relaxed neighbourhood pub; at weekends it gets packed and people dance in the basement. The crowd is mostly female and queer, and friends of every gender are welcome.
