What makes Dialogai special
Dialogai sees itself as a community space with reception, conversation, information and counselling. The organisation campaigns against discrimination and for the health, rights and visibility of queer people, and trains professionals on homophobia and transphobia. An anti-discrimination service offers victims of homophobic and transphobic violence a listening ear, advice and guidance.
Projects and groups
Under the Dialogai umbrella are Checkpoint Genève, a health centre for gay men, men who have sex with men and trans people, and Refuge Genève for LGBTIQ+ young people in difficult situations. There are also leisure activities such as a film club, hikes, the choir Les Genevoix, queer yoga and tango, as well as self-help groups, for example on substance use and chemsex. The “Inside” hall can be rented.
