Dru’s is one of Memphis’s two remaining full-time gay bars and calls itself a karaoke neighbourhood bar. On Madison Avenue there’s karaoke on most nights, plus drag, trivia and comedy.

What makes Dru’s Place special

The bar thrives on singing along: karaoke runs almost daily, often with theme nights like One Hit Wonders. In between there are drag nights, Halloween shows and parties by local groups. The Memphis Flyer included Dru’s in its Best of Memphis list for 2024. According to guests, a small cover is usually charged.
