What makes Gerede e.V. – Infocafé Kontakt special
Gerede is above all a point of contact and educational provider, not a place to go out. The association organises meetings for queer refugees, storytelling cafés about queer life in the GDR, readings and training courses throughout Saxony. Reviews praise the friendly, calm atmosphere. The rooms are not wheelchair accessible (ten steps), but other rooms can be arranged on request.
Programme
In autumn 2026 the programme includes monthly meetings for LGBTIAQ* refugees, a German course, and readings and film nights. New requests for some counselling projects are currently paused because funding has run out.
A good fit if you …
