What makes Gingers special

The Oxford Hotel has stood on Oxford Street for more than 100 years and is an icon of the scene. On four levels there is the club Oxford Underground in the basement, the Oxford Bar with drag shows on the ground floor, Gingers on the first floor and the Polo Lounge at the top.

Gingers is styled like a New York cocktail and entertainment bar, with its own bar, booths, DJ booth and stage. Cabaret, piano nights and concerts take place here, and groups such as the Harbour City Bears and Sydney Leather Pride meet here too.

Atmosphere and crowd
