What makes Khidi stand out
“Khidi” means bridge in Georgian, and that’s exactly where the club is: on the right bank of the Mtkvari, under the Vakhushti Bagrationi Bridge. The space is industrial and bunker-like, and the sound system is praised. The music is hard techno from Georgian and international DJs.
For the queer scene there’s the party series KiKi with drag and queer acts; dates are on the website and social media channels. A strict ban on photos and filming applies. Tickets are usually cheaper online than at the door. Georgia passed a law in 2024 that severely restricts the rights of queer people. Visible queer life is under pressure, and discretion on the way to and from the venue is advisable.
Atmosphere and crowd
The crowd is techno-loving and international. Guests praise the sound, the nice staff and the fast service at the bar. KiKi nights explicitly stand for respect, regardless of gender, origin or who you love.
A good fit if you …
- love hard techno
- like it raw and industrial
- want to dance until the morning
Not ideal if you …
- want to party before midnight
- want to take photos of the night
