What makes Micky’s special

Micky’s sits in the middle of Santa Monica Boulevard and has been a fixture in West Hollywood since 1989. There are DJs, go-go dancers on the podiums, a balcony and regular drag shows, including the long-running Showgirls revue on Mondays. The dance floor is compact rather than huge.

The big advantage: on Fridays and Saturdays Micky’s is open until 4 am, when most other bars in WeHo close at 2 am. That’s when the party crowd moves on here.

Atmosphere and crowd

The crowd is mostly gay and on the younger to middle-aged side, the mood uncomplicated and flirty. Guests praise the drag shows and the go-gos.
