What makes Noiz stand out
In Gazi, Athens’ queer nightlife district, Noiz is the go-to address for lesbian and queer women. Google explicitly lists the club as women-owned. The room is glamorously decorated, with disco balls, chandeliers and neon light.
Behind the decks are mostly female DJs playing Greek and international dance hits, and Greek pop to sing along to is a fixture. On Fridays and Saturdays it goes on until 6 am, and on busy nights booking a table is a good idea for groups.
Atmosphere and crowd
The crowd is young and up for a party, mostly women. Men are welcome but are not the focus. Not much happens before midnight; it gets really busy from about 1 am.
A good fit if you …
- are looking for a club with a lesbian focus
- like Greek pop and charts
- want to party late in Gazi on a Friday or Saturday
Not ideal if you …
- are looking for a men’s bar
- want to go out before midnight
- are out from Monday to Wednesday
